VENICE BEACH SKATE PARK — Happy Place

As I watch the skateboarders do their runs. I used to ride when I was younger and Venice Beach skate park was always on the top of my list of places to skate. While I don’t skate anymore, I still enjoy watching it. Bringing my film camera to places like this is a double win. It takes patience to capture the right moment, and why shoot 300 frames when it is more satisfying to get it in one shot. Or not get it. It happens, not the end of the world. I throughly enjoy standing by the railing and hours can go by.
